Puppy Protection Foundation training is the early stage of raising a puppy to become a personal protection dog. The training focuses on building confidence, proper drives, not aggression. The goal is to shape a mentally sound and socially stable dog that can eventually learn controlled protection work.

Adult Protection Training (follows puppy foundation training) is a process of preparing a qualifying dog for personal protection. This is a highly specialized process that focuses on control, obedience, stability, and civil protection.
Service dog training is a specialized and highly structured process that prepares a dog to perform specific tasks that assist individuals with disabilities. These dogs are protected under laws like the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act). These animals are allowed to accompany their handler in public places where pets are not allowed.
DOG REQUIREMENTS
Temperament: calm, confident, non-aggressive, eager to work
Health: excellent physical condition, good genetics, no chronic issues
Age: Most training starts around 1 year, although foundation skills start as young as 8 weeks
Scent Detection is the process of teaching a dog to locate and indicate specific odors using its highly developed sense of smell. It's used in both working roles (e.g., Police, Search and Rescue, medical detection) and in sports or enrichment activities for pet dogs.
